Brunch at Charlie’s Cafe

Charlie’s Cafe has an interesting layout. When you walk in the front door of what looks like a residential house, it feels as though you’re walking through the kitchen. Then you step onto what feels like the back porch for the large seating room.

The seating area is something to be desired in the decor category. It felt as though decorated on a budget with bulk decor from Amazon with the Dollar Tree sprinkled in.

We skipped the half gallon mimosas, since I had a six hour drive ahead of me, but we will probably be back for that. Instead, I ordered coffee of course, Ryan had some OJ, and sweet tea for my sweetie.

Ryan ordered the Tom Hanks, which was a chicken and biscuit with gravy, eggs (he chose over easy), and home fries. This is how they came out.

Sassy ordered the French toast with blueberries and bananas. She decided after they came out that she no longer likes cinnamon, but she devoured the whole plate anyway.

Lastly, here is my veggie omelette. Actually, it’s called the vegetarian omelette. But since I’m not a vegetarian, Sassy told me I wasn’t allowed to call her that. Peep the bacon- that was for her, since I actually don’t like bacon. I figured her French toast needed some protein.

Overall, delicious. The staff was kind, the pricing was as expected. Charlie’s Cafe would be great for hangover mornings, or lazy Sundays like today.
